I was not expecting such a great coat but it is!

So I got this on sale for $66 and I’ve never shopped at Valabasas before so I was worried the price was gonna be too good to be true. But it looks just as nice as the pictures and it is a really hearty heavy coat. Great quality and more than worth the money spent and I’m gonna be looking to get more stuff from Valabasas in the future.

The style is cool but

First the color of the rose red which looks pastel pinkish on the website doesn’t match the real life color of the coat which is more of a hot pink. It was easy to remove the metal “Valabasas” logo that is stitched on the lapel and between the shoulders. Which is great because it looks much better without that hardware and it was stitched in a way that allowed me to remove it without damaging the coat. Also website says it’s mohair but the sewn in garment tag says 100% polyester. So overall just multiple inaccuracies/misrepresentations of this coat on the website. However, it is cozy… but knowing all of this now I’m glad I got it when it was on sale. Wouldn’t make sense to buy this otherwise.
