Valabasas Denim Care Guide

At Valabasas, we use premium, richly dyed denim that is intentionally deep in color for an authentic, high-quality finish. Due to the nature of dark or raw denim fabrics, dye transfer may occur, especially during initial wear or when in contact with light-colored garments, upholstery, Shoes or accessories.

We recommend the following care instructions to maintain the integrity of your jeans and minimize dye transfer:
    •    Wash before first wear.
    •    Always wash inside out, in cold water with like colors.
    •    Avoid contact with light surfaces, especially while the garment is new.
    •    Do not bleach or tumble dry. Air-dry flat or hang to preserve fabric integrity.
    •    Limit washing frequency to maintain the color and fabric structure.

Dye transfer is a natural characteristic of dark denim and is not considered a defect. As such, Valabasas does not accept returns or exchanges for dye transfer-related issues.
