The fit on this pair of jeans is superb. Blue denim peering beneath re-embroidered botanical lace in vine and seafoam green is nothing less than ostentatious extravagance. The cut of the jeans is perfect and the lace overlay adds an Edwardian feeling with undulating florals and vines, which make up the lace motif. This is not a look for the shy, but one for those who are bold enough present a statement. There were strings hanging here and there. Additionally, some of the lace was not properly sewn to the jeans. I also did not care for the unfinished hem even though I realized that this is part of the deconstructed look. I was able to tailor everything perfectly to my taste, and the few imperfections were not enough to make me unimpressed with the genius behind the design concept and the fit. I wore the jeans once already, and caught admiring eyes taking long stairs and dirty looks at me. I felt sexy. I could tell that a few of my colleagues were “green” with envy. LOL I got so much attention that I’m not certain that I will be able to wear these jeans again in the same place. Happy.
